Feeding Instructions

Feeding Rates
Where TMR diets are used on farm higher feeding rates (200-250grams) will have to be used to balance these diets. Our TMR range is formulated specifically for this purpose. Compound feed supplied by your miller usually contains 3% mineral supplement.

When fed at 8kgs this equates to 240 grams of mineral per cow per day.”
“Modern high production herds are now using a variety of forages and concentrates. These need to be properly balanced to maximise production”
*When adding a mineral to the TMR diet the mineral added to the feeder must meet all the animals’ requirements. TMR diet require minerals to be supplemented at 200-300gm per head per day depending on the diet and generic merit of your cows (consult your nutritionist for exact feeding rate).
